| Text | On October 25, 1999, this helicopter was destroyed in an |
| accident while on approach to land at the San Jose | |
| International Airport. The helicopter suffered a | |
| catastrophic failure of the "NOTAR" anti-torque system, | |
| which resulted in a total loss of control. The accident | |
| claimed the life of Officer Desmond CASEY and ARIS | |
