Text I want to train to be a commercial helicopter pilot in
Canada. I was wondering if anyone could advise of the best
route to take. The company i am particularly interested in
is one called BC Helicopters in Abbotsford (Vancouver) (
bchelicopters.com ). They fly the Schweizer 300CB. I am
curious to know from a non biased perspective thoughts on
the helicopter and what chance I would have of gaining
employment with that helicopter on completion. Also would I
be able to fly a much larger helicopter such as the bell 206
jetranger after training on completion of the 5-10 hour
endorsement. Also what are the differences between American
flight schools and Canadian and would a qualification in
America be valid for use in Canada. I indend to move to
canada within the next 6 months.
Any feedback would be
much appreciated.
