- TextIs there anyone else in Toronto who is a helicopter enthusiast. Born in Montreal I moved to Toronto in the 70's and trained and got my commercial license at Toronto Helicopters but I have let my license laps.
In the past few years I've started flying again while travelling. I rent helicopters with an instructor and do some refresher training and sightseeing at the same time. I've done this in Hawaii (Hughes 300C), California (Bell 47G & Enstrom 28), BC (Gazelle) and Florida (Brantly). It is a great way to keep flying for fun, meet a lot of people and see the country.
I also go to Oshkosh every year when possible.
I have a lot of older Rotor & Wing Magazine, Helicopters in Canada Magazine and a couple of training manuals for anyone who will give them a good home.
I have also meet and had some interesting conversations with famous, gay and historically important pilots and creators. I have also been to some interesting helicopter museums and seen some interesting and unique helicopters all over the North America. E-mails will be answered and conversations welcome.
