This helo, tail number 69-6644, was assigned to the 20th Special Operations Squadron at Hurlburt Field Florida. The photo was taken in the spring of 1983 to demonstrate the capabilities of the "special ops" aircraft for the MAC staff. In the spring of 1984 this aircraft was lost in the waters near Nassua Bahama while conducting a night drug interdiction mission. The Pilot, Co-Pilot, Flight Engineer, a DEA agent, and several Bahamania police officers were lost at sea. The Aerial Gunner and two Bahamania Officers survived the crash. The aircraft was not recovered.
