Photo #892 I ferried this helicopter to Jonesboro, AK, from Torrance, as part of a flight of two, along with 209KR, also shown on this site. The are now owned by Tony Bonham Helicopters, and are used for rice pollination.
My friend Justin and I were brand-new commercial pilots, in the middle of our flight training.
The trip took 28 hours in unrelenting headwinds along Interstate 10, due to an impressive high over Kansas.
